Man dies in Maldon High Street

A man has died following a medical emergency in Maldon High Street, the ambulance service has confirmed.

Ambulance crews, the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance, and the police were called to the scene this morning, May 31.

An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson told Caroline Coastal FM News: “We were called just before 11.20am to a medical emergency on the High Street in Maldon.

“An ambulance, rapid response vehicle, an ambulance officer vehicle and the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance were sent to the scene.

“Sadly, despite the best efforts of the medical team, an adult man was pronounced dead at the scene.”

A spokesperson for Essex Police has been approached for comment.
