Residents, businesses and organisations in the Maldon District are urged to complete the council’s annual survey, with just one month to go before it closes.
Through the 2024 Resident and Business Survey, the council says it wants to hear “what really matters” to residents.
Councillor Richard Siddall, leader of Maldon District Council, said: “Giving us your feedback helps the council make its plans for the future and to know what to focus on.
“That’s why I am asking everyone to join the discussion and give us your views.”
Everybody who completes the survey will be entered into a draw to win a £50 voucher.
Mr Siddall added that residents’ feedback will help the council “know where to target its efforts”.
He said: “2024 has been an eventful year so far. We’ve had changes to our waste and recycling routes, new play equipment installed in our parks, the replacement pontoon at Burnham, and a Clean Air Route established on Market Hill.
“These are just some of the things that the council has delivered, and we continue to work to make the Maldon District the best it can be.
“It’s therefore really important we know what you want and also what concerns you about the District, so we know where to target our efforts.
“Quite simply, knowing what is important to residents, businesses and organisations is the best way for us to plan for the future.”
The survey closes on November 24 and can be completed by going to www.maldon.gov.uk/jointhediscussion
Paper copies can be collected from the council offices in Princes Street, Maldon, between 10am and 4pm or requested by calling 01621 854477.
